Being a student or young adult can come with a unique set of pressures—school, career decisions, relationships, intimacy, and figuring out who you are. It’s common to feel overwhelmed by anxiety, panic, perfectionism, and the constant pressure to “have it all together.” Many individuals also struggle with low mood, self-esteem, overthinking, or behaviours such as purging, especially when trying to cope with stress or emotional overwhelm.

This stage of life often brings uncertainty and comparison, which can lead to feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of your direction. You may find yourself questioning your choices, avoiding situations, or feeling like you’re falling behind.

Counselling offers a supportive, non-judgmental space to talk openly, better understand what you’re experiencing, and develop healthier ways of coping. Together, we can work on managing anxiety and panic, improving self-esteem, navigating intimacy and relationship challenges, and addressing patterns like perfectionism or harmful coping behaviours.

Located in White Rock, I offer counselling for students and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and personal growth. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own—support can help you move forward with more clarity, confidence, and resilience.
